Lauren was marking the anniversary of a huge turning point in her life. Two years ago, she broke off an engagement, made a move, and started to connect to her deepest desires. Now strong in her career, she was seeking opportunities that previously she was too scared to pursue. Bird imagery and crystals were an important part of the design for Lauren’s piece and provided her with a powerful adornment that would serve to ground her authentically in all she wished to do.

Wearable Art that empowers

After a tragic divorce, Paula wanted something that symbolized her feelings about preserving her love that was now tinged with sadness, and also wanted to honor her new beginning. This piece is about her courage and the strength that comes through vulnerability. Paula brought me bits and pieces from her life, trade beads, and old jewelry that no longer resonated with her. I took stones out, created chains and “set” found objects in a creative way to capture Paula’s individual style.

Keepsake For life

Kate was looking for an adornment to remind her of the strength she accessed during a paticularly challenging time in her life. She was proud of her ability to navigate through this period, and was equally as happy to be able to celebrate its completion. Garnet are Kate’s power stone, and she wanted to make this cuff a real statement piece, so we chose heavy gauge sterling and three large garnets to give this the presence she was after.
